There are eight uncapped players and another 10 with five or fewer caps. As such, that would seem to be an invitation to a hammering at the hands of a Paraguay side that has at least a dozen players with 10 or more international appearances. But with the U.S. playing the role of spectator at this summer's World Cup, these are the kind of steps that must be taken....
